Two Factor authentication

Add an extra layer of security to your Willo account by enabling Two Factor Authentication with a TOTP or time-based one-time password. A TOTP is a temporary passcode generated by an algorithm that uses the current time of day as one of its authentication factors.

Please install one of the supported password generator apps: Authy, Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator from your smartphone app store.

Setting up 2FA

Once enabled by your account manager you will be prompted to set up 2FA when you next log in. 

Slide the toggle to set up 2FA, you will be prompted with a unique QR code, please scan it with your chosen app and click Continue:

Enter the 6-digit code presented by your authentication app:

Click Continue and the system will automatically authenticate and pair your device:

Please copy and save your backup code somewhere safe, you'll need this to log in if you ever lose access to your device.

Congratulations! You've enabled 2FA on your account. Next time you log in you will be asked for the 6-digit code presented on your authentication app. 

Change my 2FA device

If you ever lose access or change your mobile device you will need to repair with your new device. 

To do this please go to the menu (top right) and select Security.

Then disable, and re-enable 2FA with the sliding switch:

Trouble logging in?

If you ever lose access to your paired device you can log in with your backup code which was generated when you first set up 2FA. 

When you log in with your backup code the previously paired device will be removed from your account and you'll need to go through the setup process again.
