What is Insights?

Willo Insights is an AI-powered feature that helps you evaluate candidate assessments in a more structured and consistent way than ever before.

It works alongside your Willo assessments by analysing candidate responses using the role-specific criteria you define in a role Blueprint.


This means:

  • Insights does not assess candidates in isolation
  • It uses your exact hiring criteria (Known as a Blueprint) for context
  • It helps align evaluations with the needs of the role with detailed evidence

By connecting candidate responses to clearly defined expectations, Insights helps teams review candidates more objectively and efficiently than ever before.


How Insights evaluates responses

Insights compares candidate responses against the criteria set in your role blueprint.

This helps identify:

  • Alignment with defined hiring criteria
  • Strengths demonstrated in responses
  • Areas where supporting evidence may be limited or unclear
  • Patterns across answers related to role expectations

These observations provide additional structure and context during the review process.


Building your Blueprint

Create your own Blueprint when setting up or editing any assessment - this is the custom framework we review, assess and score all candidates against. It is entirely yours and is custom to your needs.

You can update and train your Insights agent using the Blueprint at anytime.

Upload your company Job Description, Scoring Frameworks, Vision, Values and Purpose etc. You can share PDF's or even voice notes as part of the upload process and we will automatically ingest and analyse it all.

Then all you need to do is refine the results into Must-have, Nice-to-have and Not Important.


Reviewing your Insights results

As you receive candidate responses we immediately compare them your Blueprint and provide a score, along with evidence and criteria to help you make a more informed decision.

  • Always review the candidate’s full responses, not just Insights observations
  • Use Insights as supporting context, not the sole basis for decisions
  • Combine Insights with structured Scorecards and team feedback
  • Ensure hiring criteria are clearly defined before using Insights
  • Encourage multiple reviewers to support balanced decision-making
