Auto Reject (Coming soon)
The Auto-Reject feature helps you save time by automatically filtering out candidates who don’t meet your minimum requirements in an assessment. Instead of reviewing every application manually, you can set a clear benchmark and let Willo handle rejections for you.
How it works
- The Auto-Reject setting is available on each assessment you create.
- You can choose the minimum % of correct answers a candidate must achieve in order to pass.
- Any candidate who scores below this threshold will be automatically rejected, and they will receive your chosen rejection email.
Setting up Auto-Reject
- When creating or editing an assessment, look for the Auto-Reject slider on the final step.
- Adjust the slider to set your desired pass percentage (e.g. 70%).
- Candidates must meet or exceed this percentage to move forward.
Important details
- Only Multiple Choice and Checkbox questions are included in the Auto-Reject algorithm.
- To make Auto-Reject work, you must set correct answers for each question you want to be scored.
- Open-ended or video response questions are not included in Auto-Reject scoring.
Example
If you set the Auto-Reject slider at 80%:
- A candidate who answers 8 out of 10 multiple-choice questions correctly will move forward.
- A candidate who answers 7 out of 10 correctly will be automatically rejected.
Benefits of using Auto-Reject
- Saves time by reducing manual screening.
- Ensures consistency in candidate evaluation.
- Helps focus your attention on qualified candidates.
Next steps
- Make sure your multiple-choice and checkbox questions have correct answers assigned.
- Set the Auto-Reject percentage that aligns with your hiring criteria.
- Relax and let Willo handle the initial filtering automatically.
