Bringing hiring managers into your process

Involving hiring managers directly in your Willo interview process streamlines decision-making, speeds up hiring, and helps ensure you're selecting the best candidates. Here's a simple guide to help you effectively bring hiring managers into your process:


1. Add Hiring Managers as Users

  • Log into your Willo dashboard.
  • Navigate to Profile > Users.
  • Enter the hiring manager's email address and click Invite.
  • Assign the appropriate access level (Standard User or Admin User) depending on the hiring manager's required permissions.

2. Sharing Interviews

To share specific interviews with hiring managers:

  • Open the interview you want to share from your Willo dashboard.
  • Click on the list of avatars.
  • Add the hiring manager from the list of available team members.
  • Set their permission to receive notifications when new interviews are recevied.

3. Viewing and Reviewing Candidate Responses

Once added, hiring managers can:

  • View all candidate responses.
  • Use Scorecards to objectively rate candidate responses based on your defined criteria.
  • Add detailed Comments on each candidate’s responses to provide context or share insights with other team members.
  • Accept or Reject the candidate.
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members directly within Willo.

4. Using Scorecards Effectively

  • Create structured Scorecards within Willo to guide hiring managers' assessments.
  • Clearly define the competencies or qualities you're looking for.
  • Ask hiring managers to complete scorecards consistently to ensure fairness and accuracy.

5. Leveraging Comments for Collaborative Hiring

Encourage hiring managers to:

  • Provide clear and constructive feedback using comments.
  • Highlight candidate strengths, areas for improvement, and potential questions for follow-up.
  • Engage in meaningful discussions directly within candidate profiles to streamline decision-making.

Involving hiring managers at the earliest stages helps:
