What is Willo Proof?
Willo Proof is our employer verification system, designed to help candidates understand who they’re interviewing with and feel confident completing their interview.
Willo Proof is available as an optional Add-on - please contact your Success Manager to activate it.

What we verify
Willo Proof combines automated checks and manual review across four key areas:
1. Employer identity
We confirm your organisation is a legitimate registered business using trusted data sources.
2. Account and domain verification
We validate that your Willo account is genuinely associated with your organisation (e.g. company domain, website, and account ownership).
3. Role authenticity
We ensure interviews are linked to a real employer account and active hiring process.
4. Secure handling of candidate responses
We verify that your account is configured to handle candidate data securely within Willo.
How verification works
Verification is completed using a combination of:
- automated business and domain checks
- platform-level configuration checks
- manual review where required
Most employers are verified automatically, but some may require additional manual review which can take up-to one additional business day.
Verification status
Your account may fall into one of the following states:
- Verified – all required checks have been passed
- In-Progress – checks are in progress
- Suspended – account access removed due to risk signals
Maintaining verification
To retain your Verified Employer status:
- Keep your company information accurate and up to date
- Ensure your account remains active and in good standing
- Configure your hiring processes within Willo correctly
Verification may be reviewed periodically.
