At Willo, we know how important it is for both job seekers and employers to have a trusted hiring experience. That’s why we have introduced Employer Verification—an e-KYC process designed to help confirm that businesses using our platform are genuine.
While no system can completely eliminate risk, our industry-first verification process adds an extra layer of security, making it easier for candidates to identify legitimate opportunities and for employers to build trust with job seekers.
Note that this verification process is only for employers using the Willo platform. This process should not be used by candidates.
Why Employer Verification is Important
Unfortunately, fraudulent job postings and impersonation scams are a growing issue across the internet. While we cannot guarantee that every employer is legitimate, our verification process helps reduce the risk by requiring businesses to provide evidence of their identity before using the platform.
For candidates, this means greater confidence that the employers they interact with have undergone an extra level of validation. For employers, it helps reassure job seekers that they are engaging with a real company.
How Employer Verification Works
We use a combination of automated and manual reviews to check the identity of employers using Willo.
- Company Identity & Business Checks
- Employers provide business registration details and an official company email domain.
- Automated checks cross-reference company details with trusted databases.
- Document & Identity Verification
Employers may be asked to provide additional verification, such as confirming their identity through secure ID verification technology.
Manual Review Where Needed
If an application requires further validation, our team may manually review the information provided.
Ongoing Monitoring
- We regularly review activity on the platform and may request re-verification if needed.
While this process helps filter out many fraudulent accounts, we still encourage candidates to remain cautious and follow job search best practices.
