How to transcribe audio and video interview responses

Willo now offers automatic transcription for audio and video responses, available on selected plans. This feature provides highly accurate transcriptions and supports a wide range of languages, making it easier for you to review and assess candidate responses.

Who Can Use This Feature?

The automatic transcription feature is available in beta to users on selected plans. If you're unsure whether your plan includes this feature, please check your plan details in your Willo dashboard or contact our support team.

How Does It Work?

Once a candidate submits their audio or video interview response, the transcription is automatically generated with Willo AI Intelligence and will appear in your dashboard alongside the recorded response. This allows you to quickly review and utilize the transcript without any manual effort.

How to Access Transcripts

  1. After a candidate submits their response, go to the Interview tab in your Willo dashboard.
  2. Select the desired Interview.
  3. Click on the specific candidate’s response you wish to review.
  4. Next to the video or audio player, you will find the automatically generated transcript.
  5. You can download the transcript or copy and paste it as needed.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Can I edit the transcript?
    • Currently, transcriptions cannot be edited directly within the Willo dashboard. However, you can copy the transcript and make any necessary edits in your preferred text editor.

  • What if the transcription isn't accurate?
    • While our transcription system provides high accuracy, factors such as background noise or unclear speech may occasionally impact the transcription quality. In such cases, you can manually review and adjust the text as needed in your preferred text editor.

  • Can I get transcriptions for past interviews?
    • The automatic transcription feature is available for new responses only. Past interview responses will not be retroactively transcribed.
