Willo Proof® (Verified Employers)

What does “Verified Employer” mean?

When you see a Verified Employer badge on Willo, it means the organisation has passed a set of checks designed to help you feel confident completing your interview.

These checks confirm:

  • the employer is a legitimate business
  • the interview is part of a real hiring process
  • your responses are handled securely within Willo

Why this matters

Applying for jobs online can sometimes feel uncertain.

Willo Proof® is designed to reduce that uncertainty before you begin your interview so you know who you’re interacting with and can feel more confident investing your time.

What we verify

We verify employers across four key areas:

  • Employer identity confirmed
    • We check that the organisation is a legitimate registered business.
  • Role linked to this employer
    • This interview is part of a real hiring process run by the employer.
  • Your responses are handled securely
    • Your interview responses are securely processed by Willo and shared with the employer for this hiring process.
  • Actively hiring through Willo
    • This employer is currently using Willo to manage recruitment and review candidates.

What verification does (and doesn’t) mean

Willo Proof® helps reduce risk, but it’s important to understand what it covers.

  • Employers are responsible for how they run their hiring process
  • Verification confirms identity and legitimacy - not hiring decisions
  • Willo does not control how employers evaluate candidates

If something doesn’t feel right at any stage, you should always trust your judgement.
