Virtual backgrounds

At the moment, Willo does not support virtual backgrounds or background blur within the platform.

If you’d like to use a virtual background or blur your surroundings, you may be able to do so through your computer or webcam settings before starting your interview.

How to set it up

• Windows 10/11:

  Open the Camera app → click the settings icon ⚙️ → look for Background effects or Blur (availability depends on your device).

• macOS:

  If you are using macOS Sonoma or later, you can open Control Center (top-right corner of your screen) → select Video Effects → choose Background blur or Replace background.

• Webcam software (e.g. Logitech, HP, Dell):

  Many external webcams come with their own software. Open the webcam app and check for options like Background blur or Virtual background.

Once enabled, your chosen effect should carry over into your Willo interview recording.
